Undergraduate Applications Are Now Open for Academic Year 2024-2025

Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) is delighted to announce it is now accepting undergraduate applications for the Academic Year 2024-2025 and that students who are interested in studying at TDTU may begin to submit their documents.

We’re looking for talented, passionate, and dedicated students from all backgrounds who want to bring about the change this world needs. If you feel strongly about business, engineering, social sciences & humanities, sciences, and health science, and you wish to make the most of Ho Chi Minh City, we are looking forward to hearing from you!

 

TYPES OF UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAMS

The four types of undergraduate programs typically offered are

  • Undergraduate programs taught in Vietnamese (click here for list of majors);
  • Undergraduate programs taught in English (click here for list of majors);
  • Undergraduate programs taught 50% in English and 50% in Vietnamese (click here for list of majors);
  • Joint-training undergraduate programs with TDTU international partners (click here for list of majors).

 

STUDY DURATION

  • At TDTU, the undergraduate bachelor’s degree typically takes four years to complete. The Pharmacy major would require five years of study.
  • One year for Vietnamese language study if applicants enrolled in programs taught in Vietnamese and do not have Vietnamese language proficiency certificate at least B2 level (click here for details of Vietnamese language proficiency test).

 

ELIGIBILTY FOR APPLICATION

The applicant must meet the following requirements:

Academic requirement:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (the graduation time must be in 2024, 2023 and 2022); and,
  • GPA of final year of high school is at least 6.5/10.0

Language proficiency requirement:

For Undergraduate programs taught in Vietnam:

  • Having an Vietnamese language proficiency test result/certificate at least B2 level
  • Or attending 01 year for Vietnamese language study at TDTU and pass the final Vietnamese language proficiency test at least B2 level (click here for details of Vietnamese language proficiency test).

For Undergraduate programs taught in English:

  • Citizens from a English native speaking country;,
  • Or having a valid IELTS at least 5.0 (or equivalent, click here to see equivalent certificates);

Addition requirements:

For Pharmacy major, applicants must have:

  • GPA of the final year of senior high school is marked as “Good” or above;
  • The average Chemistry score of the final year of senior high school or equivalence must be ≥ 6.5/10.0

For the major of Architecture, Graphic Design, Interior Design, Fashion Design, and Industrial Design, applicants are required to take the aptitude assessment test organized by TDTU before entering the Bachelor’s programs.

APPLICATION DEADLINES

If you are interested in commencing your studies in September 2024, your application must be sent to us via email from 20/04/2024 to 09/06/2024

If you are interested in commencing your studies in January 2025, your application must be sent to us via email from 10/06/2024 to 10/10/2024

 

RESULT NOTIFICATION

For September 2024, the result notification would be sent to eligible applicant via email in late July

For January 2025, the result notification would be sent to eligible applicant via email in late November
