The Master of Biotechnology curriculum is developed based on benchmarking against training programs from prestigious domestic and international universities. The faculty members are highly qualified experts who earned their doctoral degrees from renowned global and local institutions.
The program aims to equip students with advanced expertise in Biotechnology and the ability to apply this knowledge to conduct research and address practical industry challenges.
Students have the opportunity to collaborate and exchange expertise with elite research groups at the Faculty of Applied Sciences (Ton Duc Thang University), as well as affiliated research institutes. Graduates will be capable of executing scientific and technological projects at various levels and publishing their findings in scholarly journals. Curriculum Focus: Highly research-intensity.
Includes 03 advanced research topics (9 credits) and a Master’s thesis (15 credits) focused on cutting-edge global research trends.
Graduates of the research-oriented Master’s program in Biotechnology are qualified for the following roles: Laboratory managers, Researchers, or Lecturers at universities, research institutes/centers, and relevant governmental departments or agencies; PhD Candidates in Biotechnology doctoral programs both domestically and internationally; Principal Investigators conducting in-depth biotechnological research with publications in prestigious peer-reviewed journals; Consultants for the design and management of biotechnology projects and initiatives; Entrepreneurs capable of establishing their own startups and/or personal brands.
