General Information
- The PhD program in Applied Mathematics aims to cultivate experts with solid professional expertise and sharp academic thinking. Learners are equipped with a solid system of foundational knowledge and advanced theories in the field of Applied Mathematics, meeting the requirements for research and professional activities in an international environment. The program focuses on fostering independent research capacity, the ability to develop scientific theories and modern methodologies to solve complex problems and thereby creating new knowledge.
- The program is designed according to Level 8 of the Vietnam National Qualifications Framework and aligned with international standards for doctoral education
- After graduation, learners can become lecturers or researchers at universities, academies, research institutes, and research organizations both domestically and abroad. They can join in interdisciplinary research groups: Mathematics - Computer Science, Mathematics - Engineering, Mathematics - Biomedical Sciences, Mathematics - Economics…. They can also participate in supervising and training of future students and PhD candidates. In additon, they can also become management experts, scientific consultants for business organizations, or participate in postdoctoral research programs and projects.
